Corbett Park Renowned For Royal Indian Tigers

To sight the tigers in its various refinement mood is enchanting and adventurous in its own way. You can easily see tigers luxuriating in the tall wood shade grasses or wading in water or pestering and geared to swoop upon its quarry. When the royal beast fight for their food needs, it becomes just impossible to stop them. It would follow, chase and clutch any herbivore that comes in the line of attack. The management and timing of the hunting is very stimulating and astonishing to know.

The population of the tiger was 40,000 in 1913 and it hugely came down to 2,000 in 1970. Because of this only, the government of India started the Tiger Project. With the actions taken by the government, the killing has been stopped and the rise in population of these grand beasts has been raised up to some level.

Jim Corbett National Park seems to be the heaven for those people who are good bird spectators. The perfect time to observe the birds is the winder season covering the time from December to February. More than 580 kinds of birds snuggle here including home and migratory both. The wild life park is an ideal place for watching birds near river feeding their young ones and flying down on the water. The variety of the birds is seen very rarely in particular seasons say winters. Many of the birds migrate in winters only to suit the climatic conditions of the wild park. Some of the birds that arrive in the winters are bareheaded goose, snipe, sandpiper, gull etc. The other birds of the park who reside here are – herons, black-necked stork, cormorants.
