Kalimpong is characterized by smiling lamas, quaint monasteries, chanting monks, colonial bungalows, green meadows, snowy mountains, colored oaks and so on. The cuisine is a delightful collection of Chinese, Indian and Tibetan foods. This place's cheese and souvenirs are especially famous.
