Bomdila is known for its Buddhist monasteries called "Gompas" and apple orchards. You can also find great designs and colors of carpets and crafts. It is a good place for trekking fans.

Namdhapa Tour: The Namdhapa Wildlife National Park located in this city is a famous tourist destination of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a hub of leopards and other wild animals like musk deer, elephant, wild goat, red panda and black Himalayan bears. The best time to visit Namdhapa Wildlife National Park is October to March. Tezu Tour: Parasuram Kund, located in Tezu is a famous holy place for the Hindus. Lord Parashuram, a great sage in the Hindu mythology, washed his sins in the river Lohit. The bank of this river is called "Parashuram Kund". Pilgrims from all over the country come here for a holy dip in this river.
