The sixty feet high Rumi Darwaza monument resembles the bygone portal at Constantinople. The topmost part of Rumi Gate consists of an eight faceted chhatri, attainable by a staircase.
Must to See Clock Tower of Lucknow: While visiting Rumi Darwaza one can also visit nearby 221 feet high Clock Tower which was constructed in the year of 1887 to mark the appearance of Sir George Couper, the first Lieutenant Governor of the United Province of Awadh.
Place of Interest Asafi Imambara or Bada Imambara of Lucknow: Constructed by Asafi-Ud-Daula in 1784, Asafi Imambara often known as Bara Imambara, is one of the marvels of the era. Woodwork can be observed in the galleries. The principal hall is believed to be the largest concaved chamber in the world. The visitors can also enjoy the Bhul-Bhulaiyan, a perplexing entrapment of Zig Zag pass. The dignified Asafi Mosque and Shahi Baoli are one of the greatest attractions of the place.

Places to Visit like Chota Imambara of Lucknow: Constructed by Nawab Mohammad Ali Shah, Hussainabad Imambara, popularly known as Chota Imambara is situated to the west of Bara Imambara. The dazzling interiors with the striking chandeliers, silver mimbar, gilt ? edged mirrors and brilliant stuccos overwhelm the tourists. The external part of the Imambara is marked with exquisite calligraphy and the golden dome.

Tour to Jama Masjid of Lucknow: Situated to the north west of Chota Imambara, the foundation of Jama Masjid was started in 1832 AD under the initiation of Nawab Mohammad Ali Shah but after his death the masjid was completed by Nawab Malika Janah, the begum of Mohammad Ali Shah. Breaking the convention of pseudo Italian art, the architecture of Jama Masjid follows the Mughal style.
Travel to Shahnajaf Imambara of Lucknow: Located on the bank of Gomti near Sikanderbagh, Shahnajaf Imambara, a replica of Hazrat Ali?s burial at Najaf in Iraq, has been constructed by Ghaji-Ud-Din-Haider. The silver tomb of Ghaji-Ud-Din-Haider prevails in the middle of this building and is circumscribed by the gold and silver mausoleum of Mubarak Mahal on one side. Haider?s three wives also buried here.
