Day 1

Day 3
On the third day of your colourful Rajasthan tour, you go to Agra which is about 221 km by road. Here, you will visit the famous Taj Mahal, the monument of love, also known as one of the wonders of the world. Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal, his beloved wife. Built completely in marble, the monument has a perfect symmetry and balance. The monument is noted for the elegant domes and carvings. From Taj Mahal you proceed to visit the Agra Fort that was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. The Peral Mosque inside the Agra Fort is a major tourist attraction. The next stop will be at Itmadullah's Tomb which was built in memory of her father by Empress Noor Jehan. It is said that the interiors of Itmadullah's Tomb are better than Taj. Stay in Agra for the night.
Day 4
This is the day when your colourful Rajasthan tour starts. You travel from Agra to Jaipur covering a distance of 221 km by road in five hours. On way, you visit Fatehpur Sikri which was built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar as his capital. The Sandstone City completely red in color stands in pristine condition even today. You will, on your journey, visit the world's largest gateway which is Bulund Darwaza. Once you reach Jaipur, you retire for the night at the hotel.
Day 5
Visit the Pink City of Rajasthan on the 5th day of your colourful Rajasthan tour. After a breakfast drive to Amber Palace, you enjoy a trip to the fort. The fort is built on a hilltop. You have to ride on an elephant's back to reach the fort. In the evening, you can shop, walk around the Jaipur streets, have dinner and retire for the night.
Day 6
You travel to Jodhpur which is about 280 km by road from Jaipur. This city is also called as the Fortress City of Rajasthan was once upon a time Marwar capital and is located on the borders of Thar Desert. It is also called as Blue city because of the blue color of the houses here. The Umaid Bhavan Palace founded by Rao Jodha was founded in 1459. Another place to visit here is the Mehrangarh Fort which looks imposing over the city since it is located on top of the hill. The city of Jodhpur has a 10 km long, high wall with many bastions and 8 gates. You can see many miniature paintings ad a small cradle room in Mehrangarh Fort. This visit is followed by visit to the Jaswant Thada. Stay for the night at Jodhpur.
Day 7
After breakfast, proceed to Udaipur, the city of Dawn. On the way, visit the Jain temple in Ranakpur. It has 29 halls all supported by 200 pillars each one different from the other. As a tourist, you should visit the temple of Sun God that has erotic sculptures. Romantic City Udaipur is a fascinating place. A myriad of colors and beauty, the city is a heaven for painters, writers and poets alike. Lake Pichola in all its whiteness is a beauty to behold.
Day 8
The 8th day of colourful Rajasthan tour is also spent in Udaipur. You go for sightseeing here after breakfast. First on the list, is the City Palace that has mirrored and doors are made of ivory. The palace has marble balconies and a Peacock Courtyard. In the evening, you will be taken on a cruise ride on Lake Pichola. From the lake, Udaipur looks like a city rising majestically from the lake and placed in the middle of the desert. You should visit the Jagdish Temple and Royal Cenotaphs. You also visit the Jag Mandir Palcae located in the middle of the lake like an island.
Day 9
You proceed to Pushkar by road after breakfast on the 9th day. On the way, you visit Ajmer which was founded by the king Ajay Pal Chauhan. The city of Ajmer is very famous for the Dargah Sharif Tomb. Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti rests here. Both Hindus and Muslims revere this place. Relax for the night at Pushkar.
Day 10
This is the last day of colourful Rajasthan visit. You visit Kishangarh after breakfast. The fort of Kishangarh is surrounded by a moat and a garden. Phool Mahal was built in the graden. You can see Gundalao Lake from the palace. Herons, peacocks and other birds are a common sight here. One can even see the Sarus crane in the palace lake.
After lunch at Phool Mahal, you proceed for Delhi. Here ends your colourful Rajasthan trip marking a beginning of sweet memories.
