Jewel of Rajasthan: A Memorable Holiday Experience

Jaipur Tourism

This city called the Pink City was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and is the capital of Rajasthan. The major tourist attractions here are the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Amber Fort. While Jantar Mantar is the Royal Observatory, City Palace has a private collection of the Jaipur Maharajas. The Jaipur Bazaars overflow with beautiful handicrafts that the place is so famous for. Stay at the hotel overnight. The next day, visit other attractions like Amber Fort, Laxmi Narayan Temple and the colourful, tempting bazaars of Rajasthan. Amber Fort is located on a hill top and the Laxmi Narayan Temple is located in the new city of Jaipur. You will witness a cultural programme in the evening by local, folk artists. Pushkar Tour

After breakfast from Jaipur, you proceed to Pushkar, which is a religious place for Hindus. This is the only place where Lord Brahma, the Creator is worshipped. Another fact that has made Pushkar famous is the Pushkar Festival held every year during November. This will be yet another memorable place in the jewels of Rajasthan tour. Apart from the Brahma Temple, you will visit the Pushkar Lake.

Jodhpur Tour

About 220 kms away from Pushkar is Jodhpur which is the second largest city of Rajasthan. This place is surrounded by a high wall that has seven gates and 101 bastions. This city is called as Blue City and the houses are painted blue. Mehrangarh Fort, famous for the exquisitely latticed windows is a famous tourist attraction. It is situated on a steep hill. After the fort, visit Jaswant Thadawhich is a royal cenotaph. It is built using white marble.

Ranakpur Travel

On the fifth day of you jewels of Rajasthan tour, visit Ranakpur and proceed for Udaipur. Ranakpur is famous for the beautifully carved Jain temples. Proceed for Udaipur from Ranakpur. Upon arrival in Udaipur, you check into the hotel and retire for the night.

Udaipur Tour

The sixth day of jewels of Rajasthan Holiday tour that offers the opportunity to spent in the Romantic City of Udaipur. This city is famous for the beautiful lakes, palaces and gardens. Visit the Garden of Friends- Saheliyon ki Bari and then proceed to visit the City museum. The garden is adorned with beautiful fountains, sculptures and flowers. City Museum has a beautiful array of dolls, puppets, masks, folk musical instruments, paintings and ornaments on display. The City Palace has a huge complex- the biggest in India. There are palaces and mansions in this complex by four generations of the Maharajas. There are beautiful miniature paintings and a peacock mosaic in the palace. Enjoy a cruise ride on Lake Pichola on the boat in the evening and stay at the hotel overnight. This is the last night on your jewels of Rajasthan tour.

The next day, you pack your bags and are transported to the railway station or airport for catching your flight or train back home.
