Maharaja Tour of Rajasthan

Delhi Tour

After arrival, you are checked into the hotel and allowed to rest for the night. The next day, you proceed for sightseeing in Delhi. You visit all the famous places such as Qutub Minar, Chandni Chowk, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Old Fort etc. The day ends with a good dinner and you retire for the night.

Mandawa Tour of Rajasthan

On the third day of your Maharaja tour of Rajasthan, after a good, heavy breakfast, you proceed to Mandawa. It is a city full of havelis and castles. On way, you can see numerous villages in Rajasthan. After hotel check in at Mandawa, you will first visit the Mandawa castle that is in fact a frescoed haveli. Explore the haveli and observe the customs and traditions of the land. Return to the hotel and retire for a peaceful night after dinner. The next day, you will be taken to the Camel City of India- Bikaner.

Bikaner Tour

After the check-in at the hotel, you will first visit the Junagarh fort and Lalgarh Palace. After this, visit the Camel Breeding Farm and Research Centre wherein you will be given an insight into how the camels are reared, bred and raised.

Deshnok Tour

After breakfast the next day morning, you will proceed to visit the Deshnok Rat Temple. This is a 600 years old temple whose main deity is Goddess. Beside the main deity, there is a deity of rats. People worship rats here and they believe that these rats are re-born as human incarnations.

Khimsar Tour of Rajasthan

From Deshnok, the same day you will proceed for Khimsar. Here, you will be staying in the Royal Castle Khimsar Fort which is actually a 15th century palace, converted into a fort. The Maharaja tour of Rajasthan package takes you on an open jeep safari to the wildlife sanctuary and local villages. Enjoy a beautiful sunset over the sand dunes that evening and then return to the heritage hotel.

From Khimsar, the next day you will go to Jaisalmer. On way, you will however stop at the Jain temple in Osian.

Jaisalmer Tour

The buildings in the city of Jaisalmer are built of yellow sandstone giving it a golden colored appearance against the sun. The major attractions in Jaisalmer are Sonar Kila or the Golden Fort, Nathji ki haveli, Patwon ki haveli and the Sam Sand Dunes. You can enjoy a camel ride and a sunset here. Later, return to the hotel and have dinner followed by a peaceful sleep.

Jodhpur City Tour

The Blue City of India- Jodhpur is the place you will be visiting on the 8th day of your Maharaja tour of Rajasthan. The major attractions here are Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada and the Umaid Bhawan Museum and Palace. Also explore the Sardar Market and shop around for some souveneirs as a part of your memory in Rajasthan.

Ranakpur Tour

Ranakpur is famous for the Jain temple dedicated to Lord Adinath. After a brief stop in Ranakpur, you will proceed to Udaipur on the ninth day of your Maharaja tour of Rajasthan.

Udaipur City Tour

This romantic city of lakes will charm you and entice you. The major attractions in Udaipur are the City Palace, Jagmandir Island, Lake Pichola and Saheliyon ki bari. You will also enjoy a cruise ride on lake Pichola. The next day, you will have a very traditional breakfast in Udaipur and later proceed to Roopnagarh. This is a small village in Rajasthan where you will stay overnight.

Jaipur Tour

After breakfast in the morning at Roopnagarh you will drive to the Pink City- the capital of Rajasthan- Jaipur. This place is famous for Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Amber Fort etc. After sightseeing and overnight stay, you will go to Agra, the next day. However, on way, you will visit the former capital of the Mughal Empire called Fatehpur Sikri which was founded by Akbar. You , then proceed for Agra.

Agra Tour

This place is the house of the symbol of love- Taj Mahal. It is a marble monument having a dome supported by four pillars in perfect balance. The whole monument being built of marble is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Agra is the last stop on your itinerary of Maharaja Tour of Rajasthan. From Agra, you will be driven back to Delhi to catch your flight back home.
